Southern Germany Itinerary+Salzburg+Zurich+Doha Transfer BTW

Travelled along the southern boundary of Germany, passed by Salzburg of Austria, Zurich and Rhine Falls of Switzerland and was able to make a stopover at Doha for my intentional choice of Qatar Airways. Southern Germany is the main destination in this itinerary including the two major cities Munich and Nuremberg, some Nazi Germany related attractions and the Oktoberfest, plus the three scenery towns – Berchtesgaden, Garmisch-Partenkirchen and Fussen. Very unfortunately, a rain accompanied me for almost the entire trip and I had to go on anyway but in a rough way as my plan was mainly about scenic views. Even the Lake Königssee boat trip was cancelled due to a storm. Yet my paragliding flight above the Neuschwanstein Castle went as scheduled under just the right weather conditions – managed to take off but very misty thus it’s not only about beautiful scene but with different layers.

D1: Hong Kong > DOHA
D2: DOHA > Frankfurt > Nuremberg > Hauptmarkt > Schöner Brunnen > Reichsparteitagsgelände
Apart from that round-shaped rally ground, the Reichsparteitagsgelände is a really informative museum
D3: Nuremberg > Munich > Oktoberfest > Dachau Concentration Camp > Berchtesgaden
It’s 10 in the Sunday’s morning, hey did you actually here from Saturday night?
The whole ground used to be concentration camps, didn’t dare to look at it…
D4: Das Kehlsteinhaus > Königssee (Planned but cancelled) > Ramsau > Zauberwald > Hintersee

Couldn’t get to Konigssee due to storm, but Hintersee should be more or less the same?
D5: Berchtesgaden > Salzburg > Wasserspiele Hellbrunn > Festung Hohensalzburg > FestungsBahn > Alter Markt > Mozart’s Birthplace > Getreidegasse > Mirabell Palace > Garmisch-Partenkirchen

May not be as wild as the Niagara Falls but the Rhine Falls have their own charm here
D10: Desert Safari and Inland Sea Half-day Tour > Souq Waqif
We have not only the desert but also camel, sandboarding, moon rising as well as sunsetting
Being a female solo traveler walking into a Middle East market at night it’s a bit scary…but if you walk down to the other side of the Souq Waqif that’s just like the Temple Street in Hong Kong, with many tourists and pretty safe
